Parenting Expert

Kerry Stutzman

Kerry Stutzman, MSW
Love & Logic Instructor, Parent Coach, Public Speaker, Author, Family Therapist

Would you like to put the fun back into parenting and up the odds of raising happy, responsible kids? I can help!

There is nothing quite like a 5-week Love and Logic parenting workshop to help you handle misbehavior without breaking a sweat and create a happier family. I am a Certified Love and Logic Instructor, trained by Foster Cline and Jim Fay in 1998. I offer classes in metro Denver. Each session is chock full of practical ideas, entertaining and lively videos by the founders of the Love and Logic Institute, and discussion with other parents. The "Early Childhood Parenting Made Fun!" class is geared specifically toward parents of young children, ages 0-6. "Becoming a Love and Logic Parent" is geared toward parents of kids of all ages, but focuses more on the elementary through high school years. For more information, and to register online, please visit my website at www.kerrystutzman.com.

Bio

Kerry Stutzman was introduced to Love & Logic when her two oldest sons were a toddler and an infant. She took the Becoming A Love & Logic Parent class from Barry Ebert and was hooked on the new parenting methods that were more fun and effective. She saw how much better parenting went on a day-to-day basis using Love & Logic techniques. The saying goes, "teach what you want to learn," and she was committed to being the best mom she could be. She became a Certified Instructor of the workshop in 1998 and has been teaching around metro Denver ever since.

Kerry earned her master's degree in social work (MSW) from Denver University in 1992 and is currently studying to get her license in marriage and family therapy (LMFT) at Denver Family Institute. Kerry has also taught classes on marriage enrichment, divorce recovery for adults and kids, and self-esteem and friendship groups for children. Along with Melodye Feldman, Kerry co-founded "Building Bridges for Peace," a non-profit organization that promotes peacemaking and diversity appreciation.

She is the adoring, imperfect mother of three boys who are 12, 9 and 5, and lives in metro Denver.
